Sarah E. Scott, USAT Triathlon Certified Coach, ACSM, MES, ACE-CPFT, NASM-CPT, AAHFP-CPT, COOPER CLINIC-CPT,NFPT-CPT is a multisport strength and conditioning expert, triathlon coach, business entrepreneur, and the cofounder and President of Ironsmith, The Fitness Doctors, Inc., in Austin, Texas.

Ironsmith is the first sports training, conditioning, and movement skills corporation of it's kind established in Texas. Sarah has been recognized as one of "America's Best Professional Fitness Trainers" by Vogue magazine.

Sarah brings more than 27 years experience as a sports conditioning and fitness teaching professional -- as well as her background as a successful multisport athlete, scholarshiped collegiate track athlete, all natural championship bodybuilder and triathlete -- to her roles of Professional Strength and Conditioning Coach, triathlon coach, educator and public speaker. 

Sarah has earned a national reputation for creating Ironsmith's PlayStrong Institute advanced sports training programs. The PlayStrong Institute provides specialized basketball, soccer, running, swimming and cycling, strength and conditioning training to individuals and teams to improve strength, power, endurance, speed, agility, quickness, core and joint stability, balance, visual acuity, offensive and defensive footwork. As a result of the implementation of this program nationwide at colleges and universities, Sarah served as a visiting professor at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas from 1997 - 2000 where she taught the PlayStrong curriculum.

Over the past 18 years, Sarah has received national and statewide recognition for the development of the trademarked PlayStrong Basketball Skills and Conditioning program.

In that capacity, Sarah has worked with over 650 male and female athletes to develop basketball, soccer, running, swimming, and cycling, strength and conditioning programs. This equates to over 18,500 cumulative hours of work with athletes at all levels of experience and ability.

Clients have been athletes, coaches and teams from the Junior high to the professional level, including coaches and teams from: The University of Texas, Harvard, Yale, Boston College, Dartmouth, University of Minnesota, Texas A&M, Bentley, Stonehill, Trinity, Southwestern, Bethel College, and the ABL Colorado Explosion.

In addition, Sarah has authored numerous articles on functional sports conditioning and was a contributor to The Little Abs Workout Book by Erika Dillman. Sarah has been featured in many national magazines & publications: Energy, Oxygen, Cooking Light, InStyle, SHAPE, Self, Walking Magazine and The Denver Post, ABC NEWS.COM.to name a few. She is currently writing a coaching handbooks "PlayStrong" & "TriFit USA" geared to the unique movement, training and conditioning needs of multisport athletes. Graduate of The University of Texas Tony D. Kelly, USA Triathlon Level I Certified Coach, CPFT is Co founder and Vice President of Ironsmith -The Fitness Doctors , Inc., in Austin, Texas.
Tony has served as a college faculty member at Austin Community College (ACC) in the Department of Health and Kinesiology and is currently on the Advisory Committee for curriculum development in the Professional Fitness Trainer Program. Tony presently serves as President of the Citizen Textbook Advisory Committee to help in the selection of Physical Education textbooks for the Austin Independent School District.

Tony has co-authored several articles in health and fitness publications with emphasis in the areas of sports-specific strength and conditioning. He is also a visiting professor at Southwestern University.

Tony brings more than 26 years as a sports and fitness teaching professional -- as well as his background as a successful multi-sport athlete and championship bodybuilder -- to his roles of Professional Fitness Trainer, triathlon coach, educator and public speaker.

Tony  is currently seen monthly  on Fox's Channel 2  "Work Out Wednesdays" morning show. He was also regularly  featured professional fitness trainer on "America's Fitness Show".

Jennifer L. White
Jennifer L. White, MES, CPFT is Vice-President, Principal, and Sports Training Director at Ironsmith Body, Inc. in Austin, Texas. She is a former NCAA Division I Champion Basketball player, an Academic All-American and an NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship recipient. She is a former coach at Louisiana Tech University and The University of Texas at Austin. Jennifer brings more than 25 years of experience as a competitive athlete and teaching professional to her role as sports trainer and educator. She has presented PlayStrong specialized athletic movement training techniques at state and national conferences to high school, collegiate, professional and Olympic level coaches and other fitness professionals to learn and teach PlayStrong specialized athletic movement training techniques. Jennifer has also authored numerous articles on movement readiness skills, biomechanics of player technique and conditioning training.

Jennifer was also voted one of "America's Best Professional Fitness Trainers" by Vogue magazine.

Jessica Wurtzebach, CPT, MES
a Certified Professional Fitness Trainer at Ironsmith, The Fitness Doctors, Inc., in Austin, Texas.  She is a Certified Personal Trainer by the American Council on Exercise as well as a Medical Exercise Specialist.  She earned her undergraduate degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.  She is a former NCAA Division III Basketball player who set two conference rebounding records and was named to the All Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Team in her senior year.

Since graduating from college and joining the Ironsmith team she has competed in various triathlons across the country, varying in distance from Sprint to Ironman.

Leslin Meissner
Leslin Meissner, M.A., MES, CSCS
is a certified professional fitness trainer at Ironsmith - The Fitness Doctors in Austin, TX.  She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and came to Austin to complete her masters in exercise physiology at the University of Texas.  While there she was involved in research on postmenopausal women and their cardiovascular adaptations to exercise.

Upon graduation, she joined the Ironsmith team where she has worked with a variety of clients from adolescents to seniors, including clients with special needs such as exercise for disease management and pregnancy.  Leslin also regularly competes in triathlons in Texas and around the country.
